PETER WILEMAN PVPROI (1946-)
Wileman started his career in card publishing after studying lettering and design.
After being the art editor of a number of art magazines he became a freelance allowing him to develop his own painting style.
He has exhibited at the Royal society of Marine Artist (of which he is a member), the New English Art Club and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters of which he was vice president. He is also a fellow of the RSA.
He has won numerous awards including the Frank Herring Award and the Clerc Fowle gold medal.
